OVERALL
Suffering through countless fuzz pedals in the past, I was skeptical about this one. As always, the first thing I did was to open the box and plug it in. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the packaging. It was very well made, and gave the pedal an extremely attractive appearance. The pedal is a beautiful piece of art in itself. As always, I was impressed with the quality of the build and the fact that the owner was so willing to help me out even though I didn't purchase the pedal from him.
My biggest complaint is that I didn't find out about this pedal while it was still available at the time of this review. There is no way to find out about an upcoming product, and not being able to do that is a bummer. If you are looking for a doomy, grunge, alt-rock, and/or metal fuzz pedal that is built like a tank and has some attitude, the Fuzztration is a great pedal to check out. It is dirt cheap, so if you are in the market for a nice fuzz pedal that has some attitude, you should grab one.
Plugged into my Hi-Watt Fender Twin (1970), the Fuzztration is very simple to use. Since the output is a standard, dual mono, I didn't even need to turn the switch for mono or stereo. The pedal is a tranny booster, so the volume is up. You still need to turn the volume up to a comfortable level, however. The pedal has a unique tone-shifting circuit that works very well. The fuzz is so fat and full it is almost the opposite of how it sounds in the pedal's clean setting. The Fuzztration is a fuzz pedal that has some serious attitude, but it is perfect for grunge and alt-rock. It is a beast, and I wouldn't hesitate to get a second.
Overall, this pedal goes to show that you don't need to have a post-rock band to design an amazing fuzz pedal. (Though they may come in handy.) The Fuzztration is a song-in-a-box for all different types of fuzz jobs.
Like a muscle car with more than one gear, the Fuzztration can handle all kinds of fuzz tones. It's a true fuzz monster that can get some metal, hard rock, alt-rock, blues, jazz, doom, grunge, and all things in between. It can do it all. So go on, mash all of the fuzz controls, and let the Fuzztration go to work.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
