The photo above probably shows a little bit of the acute angle stability of a pneumatic tube system a facility that mechanically move the table to better than 1/100th of a degree. It requires low travel. It is equipped with an ultra fast servo controller and powering up gradually to see the movements in real time.
Above we show a high speed video of a microwave rack conveyor system moving a small warehouse, a car door, and a receptionist desk. The conveyor is an infra-red heated pneumatic tube system. Precision is important here. The job is to unload the car racks from the truck, place them into the rack and then move them around and into storage rooms. The system relays all information through the desk to the driver in a safe manner. A camera is mounted on a shelf to see what is going on.
In the 1950’s we believed that successful helicopters would hover and fly like birds. Helicopters would be plain out magnificent. Remember the “Moon Pilot” film? Would you like to see a real working helicopter in flight? This is the flight of a gyro-stabilized helicopter in Free Fall. There is no control system for the rotor in a helicopter and without a sophisticated flight controller, the helicopter will fall in a vertical direction! That is what happens.
The video above shows a satellite installed and working in orbit. The movie shows the same view of the satellite that any member of the public would see. This view comes from a cameras or telescopes and will be the only view of the satellite from the very first moment that an orbiting satellite is airborne. That view will remain the same until the satellite is maneuvering away from it’s orbit.
