December 28th, 2019 Jorden Marie Simms Took Her Last Breath

These are the events that lead to this tragic day.

December 21st, 2019

Jorden was arrested by Safford Police Department for shoplifting at Walmart only for them to find two Ben & Jerry's ice creams in Jorden's purse along with the receipt.  She was taken to the Mt Graham hospital where Jermiah French (cop) was left alone in examination room where he turned off his body cam and proceeded to sexually assault Jorden.  Once to the jail Jorden reported what French did and instead of anything being done they put my daughter in a isolation cell stripped her naked and put a smock on her (who does this to anyone that has been sexually assaulted) 

December 22nd, 2019

Jorden sat in isolation cell alone except for the hell she endured from the guards for telling on a cop.

December 24th, 2019

Day 3 after her assault she was finally allowed to call me and then later that evening she was taken to Sierra Vista for a rape test again 3 days after she was sexually assaulted.  When Jorden returned to the jail guard Kianna Bays  sodimized her with an unknown object. She was refused immediate medical treatment for whatever reason.

December 25th, 2019

Jorden called me this day and told me what female guard had done and begged me to get her out. 

After our call ended I drove to the jail and asked for the temp in her cell to be turned up the cold was hurting her lupus I was informed by the jailer that only the lieutenant could adjust the temperature and he would not be returning until Thursday so Jorden was forced to freeze in that cell I then asked him if Jorden was provided anyone to talk to about the sexual assault he said she was allowed to talk to a liaison I said was she made aware of that he said he didn't know and during my conversation with jailer I had my daughter Ashley on the other end of my phone so she could hear what was being said 

December 25th, 2019

Again on this day she pleaded with me to get her out of there. She was afraid. She knew something bad was going to happen. I was trying but couldn’t make it happen fast enough. We were looking forward to our video visit that we had scheduled for the following day at 2:00 pm

December 26th, 2019

I arrived for my scheduled visit with Jorden and was met by 3 deputies informing her that Jorden was not there and they could not disclose her whereabouts. As the day progressed no phone call ever came from Jorden. I called the jail around 6:00 pm to find out why Jorden had not called me yet and was told that she probably hadn't gone to rec yet and then received a call approximately an hour later informing me that an incident took place involving Jorden and was being flown to Banner University in Tucson, AZ. I screamed out to Marty that they killed her!

 After a grueling two hour drive, with panic fueling my journey, I was faced with a sight that no parent should ever see. I seen my baby's body mangled and broken almost beyond recognition, and her brain dead. At this point the family was told that she had been transported to Sierra Vista for a second medical evaluation earlier that day and upon her return to Safford, slipped her hand cuffs, belly chain and shackles and jumped from the moving transport vehicle with Perez and Rosemary Lacy in the front seat and again they waited 2 days to take Jorden for another rape test

December 28th, 2019

After struggling with the decision I had to make,  pulled Jorden's life support to donate her organs, and let her rest in peace. On this day Jorden took her last breath at 28 years old, leaving behind three beautiful children, her mother, sister, aunts and cousins.
